What is a Growth Group?
Growth Groups are groups of people who meet for 12 weeks to connect with God and make new friends. They are central to how we grow in our faith as individuals and as a church. Groups are also a whole lot of fun!
When can I sign up for a group?
Growth groups are now in session for the Spring. You'll be able to sign up for a Summer Growth Group in April. Before then, there are plenty of ways to get involved at Crossroads, including our Newcomers' Lunch, Men's Breakfast and Women's Breakfast. You may also be interested in our Life Change Ministry, as well as finding a place to serve and build friendships by volunteering.

Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.)
I'm new to Crossroads, what's the best group for me to start with?
Ignition Groups are the best place to start! These groups are designed to be your first growth group and help you become a member of Crossroads.
Do Growth Groups provide child-care?
Yes—some groups do. Groups that are labeled "child-friendly" means children are welcome to attend the group, but there will not be structured child-care provided however, groups labeled "child-care provided" means structured child-care.
Will I have to pray in front of people?
No one is singled out to do anything in front of the group. All participation is determined by the individual moving forward at his/her comfort level.
How long does a group last?
Groups last between an hour and a half to two hours. Everyone's time is precious, so group leaders begin and end groups punctually.
Why only 12 weeks?
This gives you the freedom to recommit to a group, or choose another one. It also gives our group leaders (and members) a break, and it provides new people the opportunity to jump into leadership. We hope that during the 12 weeks you will develop friendships that will continue outside of group even if you decide not to return to the same group the next trimester.
Should I bring a Bible?
Yes! If you do not have a Bible, the church can provide you one at Guest Services.
