Kids City

Welcome to Kidz City!

Kidz City is dedicated to teaching children about the love of Jesus and instilling a lifelong love for the local church. We realize that a great church experience coincides with a child’s developing impression of God’s love, so we strive to do that; make it a great experience!

Safety is very important, here at Crossroads, so we have each child register and log into our database which is specifically designed to allow for only a parent or guardian to pick their child up from a classroom. Additionally, all volunteers must undergo a background check and receive training to guarantee safety and a great experience.

“Show Kids God’s Love. Help Kids Love Church.”

Our goal is to provide a rich environment of music, story telling, crafts, games, and intentional guidance, which support developing relationships and allow for opportunities to learn Biblical truths. We know kids learn best, and build lasting friendships with peers and leaders, when they have fun. These truths and concepts are taught in an age-appropriate way that enable children to easily apply them to their daily lives. Using skilled volunteers, cutting-edge technology, fun activities, and creative environments to communicate God’s love will help foster, in your child, a desire to come and learn.

What to expect:
  • We recommend arriving 15 to 20 minutes before the service to allow you time for parking, checking in your children, getting a cup of coffee and pastry from Nightingale Coffee upstairs, and finding a seat in the auditorium. Look for our “First Time Families” sign as you walk through the lobby.  Once your family is checked in, one of our team members will be happy to show you the age-appropriate room we have created for your child.
  • We will ask the following personal information: Parent’s names, children’s names and birth dates, family address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs,) for your child.
  • You and your child will be given matching identification numbers that are exclusive only to your family and your visit. Your child needs to wear the name tag portion of your matching identification tags, which bears a code (number) that is matched to your portion during check out at the end of service. During check out, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
  • On your way home be sure to ask your child  “Did you have fun?” and “What did you learn today?”

Special Note: If for some reason your child is in need of you during the service, your identification number appears on the right side under the screen in the auditorium. We would ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member to direct you to your child’s class.
