Need to Know Info

We’re excited to offer our first ever Senior only Winter Retreat this year, and can’t wait to see how God works in the lives of our students! Here you will find the key information about the retreat, or if you want to just skip to registration, you can find that at the bottom of the page!

Where?

We will be going to Camp Chinquapin, located in Pinecrest, CA. We’ll be staying in heated cabins, separated by gender. It is a closed campground, with maintained roads throughout the winter. All food and activities are included in the cost.

When?

We will be leaving Crossroads at 4pm on Friday, February 7th, and returning back to Crossroads around 2pm on Sunday, February 9th.

If you would prefer to drive your own student to and/or from the campground, please let our team know asap (HS@Crossroadsgrace.org)

**If your student is volunteering at Night to Shine on Feb 7th, let us know asap, as we are accommodating that group with separate travel plans**

What are we doing?

Our goal and prayer for this weekend is that it will deepen student’s relationship to God through worship, teaching, and devotional time, as well as furthering their relationship with their fellow students and leaders. It’s the final leg of their high school career, let’s have a ton of fun and celebrate together! There will be intentional sessions for faith development, as well as lots of different games & activities throughout the weekend. Or, if you’re looking to just have a chill weekend with friends in the snow? Sounds good to us, we’ll save a seat by the fire.

To put it simply:
– Teachings
– Worship
– Devotionals
– Affirmations
– Games & Competitions (The weather will determine what exactly these look like, but we have a plan either way)
– Snow (I’m from the desert so I’m not really sure what to do with snow, but we’ll figure it out)

Cost

Each student will cost $149. This includes transportation, food, and all activities.

Safety

We will have multiple adult leaders of each gender coming with us, as well as the usual staff of the camp. All of the roads to & from the camp are regularly maintained, so snow won’t be an issue getting in or out.
