Camera Operator

The Camera Operator controls cameras following the direction of the Video Director during services. It’s just point and shoot. For most people, this is the easiest place to start. And if you have any photography experience, this is right up your alley.

Responsibilities

  • Follow the instructions of the Video Director calling the shots
  • Control the camera to get the right shots
  • Attend the Walkthrough and Runthrough meetings before service

Other Information

It's easy to get started. Before you run cameras on your own, our team will train you. You'll start by shadowing a camera operator during service followed by a trained camera operator shadowing you while you run the cameras. We'll know when you're ready for your first solo experience.
