Healthy Room Project

Mission: Transform the lives of young people by creating a safe, clean, positive space for them to study, sleep, and play in the comfort of their home.

In December 2022, volunteers with the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office, the Modesto Police Department, and members of Crossroads Church in Manteca were responsible for painting and providing a new bed frame, mattress, bedding, desk, chair, and dresser to the bedrooms of five at-risk youth in Modesto and Empire. Since its 2015 inception in Los Angeles, the Healthy Room Project (HRP) has affected and transformed the lives of over twenty youth in need throughout California. Fourteen of those children affected by HRP live in the central valley.

If you are interested in volunteering with the Healthy Room Project team please email Officer Sean Dodge.
