Per IRS regulations, contributions for each year must be received or postmarked by December 31st of that year in order to receive donation credit for that year’s tax purposes. Our offices are closed from Christmas Day to the end of the year, so please submit any in-person donations on or before Christmas Eve.
You can view, download, and print your quarterly and yearly giving statements on our app or any web browser. The Finance Department will generate annual giving statements on or before January 31st for the previous calendar year. If you do not have an email address on file, we will mail your giving statement. When you give to the Crossroads’ General Fund, your money is used to cover the church’s overall expenses approved by the Board of Trustees and voting members of the congregation. These expenses include operating costs, payroll, missions and outreach commitments, kids and youth ministries, the Celebrate Recovery ministry, the Music and Tech Arts ministries, as well as the Online Campus. The operating budget can be found here
Crossroads is firmly committed to good stewardship of funds entrusted to us in advancing the mission of the church: “Leading every ONE to discover JEssus and follow Him fully”. To ensure our financial accountability to you, we follow the principles outlined by the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.
We take your privacy seriously and restrict access to a few staff members. None of your information is accessed more than what is necessary to complete the processing of your contributions. We believe that your giving is between you and God.
We have several methods to give, however, the best way to give is through the Crossroads app or on this page. You can do one-time gifts, set up recurring payments, as well as review your giving history, all in one place. If you prefer not to give online, you can mail checks to P.O. Box 1200, Manteca, CA 95336, or give in person in one of our offering boxes located in the auditorium. Please do not mail any cash.
Yes! Beyond your tithe to the General Fund, you can contribute to the Building Fund and Benevolence. The Building Fund is used for purchases beyond the budget that help us perform minor repairs/renovations to the building (new paint in the kids areas, refresh signage in the building, etc.). The Benevolence Fund is used to help those in the community, and sometimes fellow Crossroadians, when they are in specific need. These funds help contribute to things like car repairs for a single mom, groceries for an elderly couple, or unexpected medical needs for a sick child. Our Pastor of Outreach works with Love Manteca to determine the nature of the need and works to ensure that this assistance is truly needed before any help is provided.

There are three teams that are involved in leading the overall ministry of Crossroads. The Executive Team and the Board of Trustees are mandated by the church by-laws as required by the State of California. The Pastor/Director Team has been established on Biblical principles of church leadership. Each of the three teams described below have distinct and critical roles in fulfilling the mission of the church and providing accountability and checks and balances.
Pastor/Director Team – This is the primary governing body at Crossroads, what some churches might call the Board of Elders. It is made up of all of the pastors and directors on staff and is led by the Lead Pastor. It is responsible for overseeing all of the ministries of the church. Every church ministry is led by a member of this team. It is responsible for day-to-day management of church affairs. It is responsible for presenting a first-draft annual budget to the Board of Trustees and the implementation and management of the budget upon approval by the congregation.
Executive Team – The Executive Team is a subset of the Pastor/Director Team comprised of the three corporate officers. The Lead Pastor is the President of the corporation, the Executive Pastor is the Vice President and another pastor serves at the secretary. These corporate officers are mandated by the church by-laws. This team has the same responsibilities as the rest of the Pastor/Director Team except they make Pastoral salary recommendations (other than their own) to the Board of Trustees and are required to sign official documents.
The Board of Trustees (BOT) – This team’s primary responsibility, as defined in the church by-laws, is the creation of the annual church budget. They are presented a draft budget created by the Pastoral Staff and mold it into a final budget for presentation to the congregation at the annual church business meeting. Once this budget is approved by the congregation its implementation is the responsibility of the Pastoral Team. Additional responsibilities of the BOT are to make decisions on pastoral hiring and termination recommendations and any issue regarding the purchase of real property or new indebtedness. For issues other than the creation of the budget, pastoral hiring and termination, real property or new indebtedness, the board acts in an advisory capacity to the Pastoral Team, providing feedback and advice on a variety of issues. Lay board members serve up to four, consecutive, one year, terms. New Lay BOT members are nominated by the existing BOT and must be approved at the annual church business meeting. The Executive Team members are permanent members of the BOT.

Pushpay is a digital giving platform that makes giving easy for our members. Through the Pushpay digital giving platform, you can choose to give a single donation or schedule recurring donations on the frequency you choose. To make a single donation or schedule recurring donations, you will need to have your checking account, debit, or credit card information readily available.
Pushpay uses your mobile number as your username and provides a temporary six-digit code as your password each time you login. Since you are the only one with access to your mobile phone, logging in is more secure than using a password that can be guessed, hacked, or leaked through security breaches.
Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) is a set of security standards to ensure that all companies that accept, process, store, or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment. Pushpay is PCI compliant and Crossroads does not have access to, or maintain, any of your credit card information. If you provide donations via check, your bank account information is secured in locked storage and only accessible to the Finance Department or those with legitimate need for the information. We take your security very seriously.
Yes, there are fees involved with online giving (as well as processing of cash and checks). The most cost effective method is the “bank account” method because it has the lowest processing fees allowing us to put more of your contributions to work in ministry.
The Finance Department processes checks and cash every Monday morning, and any online deposits will be processed by Pushpay in 1-3 business days. Your bank or credit card company could take an extra 1-2 days for the charge to appear on your statement. Contributions will appear on your giving record within 1-3 business days.
To change your payment method, login to Pushpay using your mobile number and 6-digit temporary code received via text message. On the left side menu, select “Payment methods” and add a new card or bank account. If you have a recurring payment, you will need to add the payment method first, then edit your recurring donation with the new payment method. For detailed instructions on how to change your payment method, contact the Finance Department at accounting@crossroadsgrace.org.
To modify your recurring gift, login to Pushpay using your mobile number and 6-digit temporary code received via text message. On the Welcome page, locate your recurring gift and click “Edit”. Scroll down and click “Edit Recurring”, make any necessary changes, and click “Save”. For detailed instructions on how to change your recurring gift, contact the Finance Department
