FIVE WAYS TO DESCRIBE HIM

Seriously smiley, life-long learner, great listener, coffee and tea fanatic, dedicated family-man.

WHAT HE DOES AT CROSSROADS

Ed is the Executive Pastor. He serves the ministries of the church, helping with strategic planning and alignment around our vision. He also preaches occasionally on Sundays. He loves developing leaders and seeing individuals and groups grow spiritually!

FAMILY

“Kiah is my amazing wife of 17 years and we have five fantastic kids. Kiah is a school teacher by profession, but has the job of her dreams, being a stay-at-home mom. We love to go out for coffee, hang out with friends and laugh a lot!”

WHAT HE’S PASSIONATE ABOUT

Ed longs for others to find their joy in Jesus, so he works hard studying, communicating and training others. He also loves building things with wood and doing home improvement projects.

PREVIOUSLY IN LIFE

You may have heard of the English pastor WITHOUT an English accent! Ed was born in England and moved to and lived in Modesto, CA from the age of 4 until the age of 13. He then moved back to England until the age of 24 and kept his American accent! He received a BA and teaching degree from Oxford University, taught math to junior high and high school kids in England, then moved back to Modesto to attend seminary and to pursue his sweetheart, Kiah.
