Need to Know Info

We’re excited for our annual Upper Classmen only Winter Retreat this year, and can’t wait to see how God works in the lives of our students! Here you will find the key information about the retreat, or if you want to just skip to registration, you can find that at the bottom of the page!

Where?

We will be going to Christian Berets, located in Pinecrest, CA. We’ll be staying in heated cabins, separated by gender. It is a closed campground, with maintained roads throughout the winter. All food and activities are included in the cost.

When?

We will be leaving Crossroads at 3pm on Friday, February 19th, and returning back to Crossroads around 12:45pm on Sunday, February 21st.

If you would prefer to drive your own student to and/or from the campground, please let our team know asap (HS@Crossroadsgrace.org)

**Student’s may not opt to drive themselves, transportation must be provided by either Crossroads, a parent, or a pre-arranged car-pool with an adult driver**

What are we doing?

Our goal and prayer for this weekend is that it will deepen student’s relationship to God through worship, teaching, and devotional time, as well as furthering their relationship with their fellow students and leaders. It’s the final leg of their high school career, let’s have a ton of fun and celebrate together! There will be intentional sessions for faith development, as well as lots of different games & activities throughout the weekend. Or, if you’re looking to just have a chill weekend with friends in the snow? Sounds good to us, we’ll save a seat by the fire.

To put it simply:
– Teachings
– Worship
– Devotionals
– Ice Skating
– Games & Competitions (The weather will determine what exactly these look like, but we have a plan either way)
– Snow (I’m from the desert so I’m not really sure what to do with snow, but we’ll figure it out)
– Basketball (if weather allows)
– Mini Golf (if weather allows)
– Pickle Ball (you get the point with the weather, right?)

Cost

Each student will cost only $200! This includes transportation, food, and all activities.

Safety

We will have multiple adult leaders of each gender coming with us, as well as the usual staff of the camp. All of the roads to & from the camp are regularly maintained, so snow won’t be an issue getting in or out. Students will stay in dorm style housing, with the guys separated from the girls.
