WHAT SHE DOES AT CROSSROADS

Heather loves helping others know about Jesus. As Director of Communications, she creates and implements communications both inside and outside of the church. This includes our website, app, social media, and much more. She also helps our team with strategic planning and marketing promotion. Heather loves people and wholeheartedly believes that life is better together.

“I love my family! My fun husband and I met in college and married for 20 years. We have two beautiful kids, Cassie (19) and Rudy (17), who joined our family through adoption. We love going on adventures, playing board games, and trying to make each other laugh.”

PREVIOUSLY IN LIFE

Heather grew up in a small desert town near the border in southern California. She ventured up north and attended Simpson University in Redding, where she met her husband, who grew up at Crossroads. After they were married in 2004, Heather earned her BA in Communications at CSU Stanislaus and started working on staff in 2005. She has had the opportunity to work in various roles on staff and loves serving on our team.

WHAT SHE’S PASSIONATE ABOUT

“I am passionate about Jesus and people. My deepest desire is to live a life that points people back to Him. I want others to know and believe how good He is and how deeply loved they are. One of my favorite verses and constant reminder from Him is Zephaniah 3:17.”
