A spiritual gift is a God-given ability that allows a Christian to work through their lives to help the church advance the gospel. Every one person has natural talents and abilities, however, spiritual gifts are given only to Christians. Each Christian has different gifts and wiring so that the Church needs all Christians to use their gifts in order for the Church to work effectively towards its mission (see 1 Corinthians 12-14).
