DRIVE-IN CHURCH FAQs
Is this allowed under our current “Shelter-at-Home” mandate?
Governor Newsom approved drive-in church services last month. The only requirement is that social distancing protocols are followed.
What are the social distancing protocols?
We will be parking vehicles 6’ apart. People must stay in their cars. At no point will you be asked to leave your vehicle, nor will we be handing out or distributing anything.
Will restrooms be available?
No, attendees are not allowed to exit their vehicle, or enter the building due to county requirements.
What are the service times?
Services will be on May 9 at 8pm and May 10 at 10am. We encourage you to come early as there is a limit to the number of cars and it will be a first-come, first-serve basis.
Where will it be held?
In the dirt lot next to Crossroads building at 1505 Moffat Blvd, Manteca.
What about communion?
Bring your communion supplies with you so that you can celebrate communion with us. (We will not be able to hand out supplies due to restrictions).
What time should I arrive?
We will open 45 minutes before each service. Spaces will be limited due to social distancing requirements.
Why would I come to this service instead of simply watching the online service at crossroadsgrace.online? Will the drive-in service be any different?
This is an opportunity for you and your family to get out of the house and be together with others, even if it means having to wave at them from your car. We will have two large LED video walls set up in the dirt lot next to the church to show the same worship and message that will be streamed online. All audio will be transmitted via FM radio. If the radio in your car doesn’t work, make sure to bring a portable radio with you so that you can hear audio.
